A note from the Executive Producers:
Produce an event that does justice to Dave Chappelle’s unique place in the pantheon of American humorists? And is PBS friendly? Right… what could possibly go wrong?!
8彩票网登陆Throughout his celebrated career, Dave has spoken his truth not just to power, but to everyone. He’s held up the mirror to all of us and remained unwaveringly committed to his art. He’s made us laugh at each other and at ourselves, in ways that shock and delight us in equal parts.
It’s a profound honor and a thrill to put together a night in Dave’s hometown that celebrates Dave for what he is—a virtuoso, an iconoclast, an inspiration—in a style that does justice to his genius and his huge impact on popular culture in America.
Longtime friends Hamish Hamilton, Ian Stewart and Simon Pizey created Done+Dusted in London in the late 90’s. Creativity, collaboration and excellent production management gained them an incredible client base that quickly became international in size and scope. Creative Director Russell Thomas and COO Melanie Fletcher soon joined the executive team and the company opened up a second office in America. Shortly after, Katy Mullan, David Jammy and Guy Carrington joined the executive team, bringing renewed focus on expansion, development and company philosophy.
Executive Producers: David Jammy & Rick Austin; Co-Executive Producers: Chris Convy & Kristen Wong
